CONVERSATIONS WITH YOUR MOM
I'm doing the happy dance today, tomorrow we are driving to Austin to visit with you and your parents!! It's been almost two weeks since I saw you last. Tomorrow will also be bitter sweet, because we sign the papers to sell the house that your Mom and Uncle grew up in. A lot of memories- so, so many!! Your Mom was almost three years old when we moved from Cerritos, California and she lived in the house on Walters Rd. until she went away to college.
Your Mom and I talk almost every day, we discuss what your doing, like how many poops you had that day (haha). Yesterday you went to the Dr. and your Mom told me that you are in the 90th percentile and you now weigh 11lbs. The Dr. was very pleased with your progress. You developed thrush in your mouth a couple of weeks ago and your mouth is much better but you still have some spots, so the Dr. is giving you stronger medication.
When you get older you will find out that your Mom loves to watch movies. Yesterday was the first time she took you to the movies. Her friend Elizabeth and her children went with you and your Mom. The first movie that you went to see was KUNG FU PANDA. Elizabeth is a nurse and was in the room at the hospital when you were born.
Here's another name to the growing list of names that you are called: Dryer Baby. When you are Dee's and become fussy, your mom puts you in the Moses basket and puts you on top of the dryer and runs it. You go right to sleep and stay asleep. I told your Mom Dee should charge her electricity for running the dryer. Well my sweet bunny Zuzu can't wait to see you tomorrow.

THE DAY BEFORE YOUR BIRTHDAY
On Tuesday April 29, 2008 , your Mom went to the Dr. to see how you and her were doing. The Dr. was concerned that her blood pressure was high and wanted to see her on Friday. I got a call from your Mom and she was crying, she wanted me to come to Austin to be with her, she was not feeling good!
I arrived in Austin on Wednesday around 5:oo pm and went to Dee's house where your Mom was working. I took one look at your Mom and put my mouth to her tummy and told you it was time for you to come out, no more fooling around! Your poor Mom looked miserable, her hands and feet were swollen and she looked so tired.
We left Dee's house and went to pick up your Dad at the bus stop and had dinner. I can't remember where we ate. Your Dad went home and your Mom and I went to Target to pick up some last minute items for you. She bought a waterproof mattress pad just in case her water broke in bed.
We came home and finally went to bed around midnight. I was fast asleep and about 12:30 your Dad knocked on the door and told me your Mom's water had broke.

I CAN'T BELIEVE I'M DOING THIS!
Your Grammy is becoming such a techie, anything for you Zoe, our little Bunny Zuzu. Your Mommy said that she would never do a blog, well she gave in a couple of days ago and started a blog. I'm following in her her footsteps so I can document our visits with you.
Today you are one month old and you left Grammy's house with your Mom and Day to go home to Austin. I miss you already! I have been fortunate to have been with you 26 days out of 31 since you were born. I can't believe how much you have changed and and how much we have learned about you in one month.
